Something ordinary made extraordinary! We use  a yeasted waffle dough and sprinkle in pearl sugar that caramelizes in the hot waffle iron.  delicious plain or topped with a seasonal topping like strawberries and whipped cream, pumpkin spices, warm apple compote or blueberries and lemon ricotta.
